Math Workshop for Kids: Learning Through Play
Our goal is to address a clear gap in the current education system by emphasizing critical thinking and inquiry.
We aim to first show children the relevance of mathematics in their daily lives.
We'll teach them topics in math that they never get to see due to the exam system, but absolutely should.
Our top priority throughout this process is to "foster a positive attitude towards mathematics in young individuals."
We'll achieve all of this by treating children as the individuals they are (as they should be treated): by engaging them in discussions, encouraging them to ask questions, striving to answer every inquiry, and never suppressing their natural drive to learn.
Experienced Team
As the Math Workshop for Kids: Learning Through Play, our primary focus is ensuring that the individuals who will instruct this program in different cities are both educators and possess a strong understanding of mathematics and science. For this reason, all instructors in our centers have academic backgrounds and are experts in their respective fields.
The only way for this initiative to spread sustainably across Turkey is for our program to be led by true scientists who can both successfully implement it and contribute to its development. And this is the matter we prioritize most.

PROGRAM
As is well-known, the education system in Turkey has become a satellite of the exam system. In any field, such as mathematics, the themes that are important for exams shape the curriculum much more than what is truly significant for the subject itself. At the Math Academy, we've set aside what the exams prioritize and instead focused on the themes that are fundamentally important for mathematics and science.
METHOD
Each class students spend at the Academy begins with a discussion section related to that day's theme, followed by activities that concretize the discussed topic.
INSTRUCTOR PROFILE
Our entire team of instructors consists of young academics who are experts in their fields, working in the mathematics and science faculties of universities.
